The Eternal Word

This project is a dedicated effort to uphold the sanctity of the Quran by identifying and documenting all instances of incorrect Quranic Arabic across various platforms, whether digital or print. Each entry includes the source of the error, a description of the specific mistake(s), the platform or medium where it was found (e.g., websites, apps, books, media), and whether a correction has been formally requested. The status of each case—pending, acknowledged, or resolved—is also tracked to ensure accountability and transparency. Through this initiative, we aim to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of the Quranic text in all public and educational spaces.

Please note that the purpose of maintaining this log is not to shame or criticize any individual or organization. This is not about who has posted the content, but about what has been posted — the representation of the sacred word of Allah. We deeply apologize if anyone feels they have been put on the spot. If you have any concerns about an entry, we kindly urge you to correct the representation of the Qur’an, and reach out to us. We would be more than happy to remove the related entry once the issue is resolved.

To err is human, and Allah is the Most Forgiving. Our sole intention is to preserve the integrity of the Qur’an’s transmission as a shared responsibility of the ummah. To ensure continuity of this mission, we include a contact address or source reference in each entry so others can carry on the work if we are no longer able to.

The word “min” is listed twice in Ayah 56 on Page 7. The ayah ends in “min-al-mohsineen”. There should only be a single “min” in the end of this ayah.

Incorrect diacritic in Surah Al-Kafiroon, Ayah 3. It is on the word “maa”. According to www.quran.com, this word should not have a tashadd on it (the diacritic that looks like a “w”).

1 @muslim_corner3118 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLu3mGVP2aF/?igsh=MW1wbTVyenI5MnJ6dA== The word “hamazaatish” is incorrect in Arabic. The incorrect word appears on the first screen.

This word is, however, correctly written in transliteration.

2 @quran.24h24 https://www.instagram.com/p/DL4cV7-MPdC/?igsh=MTczbmQybXh4cmlhMg== The first word of the first ayah should with Qawf and not Faa. The last word of the first ayah ends in “kafiroon”. The Faa in this word should have the dot above the circle and not below it.

Please note that the screenshot does not have show full Surah Al-Kafiroon. The last ayah is missing.
