This week, we had a productive and engaging session focused on strengthening our foundational Arabic reading skills. We began by reviewing the Arabic alphabet, ensuring we are becoming more confident with letter recognition and pronunciation.
The main focus of the session was practicing how to identify the different shapes of letters from Alif (ا) to Kha (خ) depending on their position in a word—whether they appear at the beginning, middle, or end.
We also conducted an interactive activity where we learned to recognize the varying shapes of letters from Daal (د) to Sheen (ش) in different word positions. This hands-on practice helped participants better understand how letters connect and change shape within words.
The deck used in this session is attached below for anyone who would like to review the material or catch up:
We look forward to seeing you in the next session, where we will continue our journey with letters from Saaad (ص) to Ghain (غ).
